Laying Pipe

In case you haven't ridden out at Indian Springs metropark recently, there is a Consumer Energy Pipeline Project cutting through my heart.

The work is schedule to last May - July 2009. Consumers told the park that it would be just like new when they are complete. I can't see how that can ever be, after the clear cutting it looks like they are putting in a 4 lane super highway with a center lane.

I have also heard the park will be replacing the middle section of the bike trails asphalt so expect more trail closures this summer. I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking take a look [here]
