Laying Pipe

In case you haven't ridden out at Indian Springs metropark recently, there is a Consumer Energy Pipeline Project cutting through my heart.

The work is schedule to last May - July 2009. Consumers told the park that it would be just like new when they are complete. I can't see how that can ever be, after the clear cutting it looks like they are putting in a 4 lane super highway with a center lane.

The long and winding road

Well after some going back and forth on what kind of pavement cruiser I wanted I have settled on the 2009 Cannondale CAAD9-7. After reading the reviews in bicycling magazine about the CAAD9 frame and seeing frame up close I knew I had to have this one.

Its not a out of the box single speed but with a little imagination it can be. My plan is to ride the gears right off it then convert it. This is going to make for one awesome single speed road bike.

I would like to thank Terry's Cycle of Alma, Michigan #989-463-5260. Terry and Napper are good people and some real pro's when it comes to bikes. I wouldn't hesitate to call them if you are looking for a bike, parts or need some repairs and don't forget to ask for the napper special.
