Off topic but did you ever get a chance to ride the Dawes Dead Eye? if so what was your impression of the geometry and ride?

yeah it is worth the 300ish, weighs about 29lbs and the wheelset it self weighs about 27...definitely the first thing that needs to be replaced. the geometry isnt to far from my cog.

Thanks my only real interest is the steel frame and fork and that is still a good deal.
