Best Donuts in the World
To be a fair and balanced website we should probably go here. Who has the best donuts and what kind is your favorite?
Not sure I have a favorite place but the best kind is the one I am eating 
Pete's bakery, right by Me house. By the Dunham's and Kmart's on Dixie. Bavarian cream long John's are the bomb!
Pete's is pretty good. I am a big Dunkin Donuts fan as well. Every DD I have been (with the exception of the one by Summit Place Mall and the one off I-75 and 12 mile) has been really good and consistent. Not a huge Krispy Kreme kind of guy, never really enjoyed their donuts. But the one donut that trumps them all is the Donut from any Michigan cider mill that is fresh off the fryer along with a cup of cold Cider.
We have Hinkley's Donuts here in Jackson. It's not in the nicest part of town but the donuts are legendary (locally, of course). Custard filled long john's are the best!

I like the big one right in the middle but wouldn't hesitate to try them all.
Krispy Kreme sucks.
Quality Dairy has wonderful donuts in the Lansing area. Majic Johnson worked there in high school so they have a couple named after him. Of course the custard filled long john is good. And the chocolate with peanutbutter fudge frosting is to die for. Chocolate on chocolate is killer. My fav is just the plain unglazed apple cider donut. Dunked in a large coffee with 3 half and halfs.

Personally, I like Donna's Doughnuts in Grand Blanc.
The Vanilla Creme from Tim Horton's is a good one, although I am a sucker for any creme filled doughnut. The key is how fresh it is. Homie don't play no stale doughnuts.
i'll bring some Goober's to Napper's saturday. Have to say their choc. frosted fry cake w/black coffee is pretty damn good.
I'll second the DD. Very consistently yummy.
