boyne marathon
Everyone's been busy and summer is going crazy fast. I raced boyne mtn with chris werth and some of the N.O.S.S. mafia. I raced sport, cause I am a sissy and didn't have the legs for 3 laps of pain. rode a 32x20 gear and came home with the bronze. The more I ride that course the more I like it. it really takes it to you on the hills, but if you ride it enough you can really flow the downhill sections. makes it a little more enjoyable, not much, but a little. have to give a shout out to grayling native jordan wakely, that dude crushed the pro field on a SS. I believe he was running a 32X18.
I've said it before and I will scream if from the top of Boyne Mountain! Boyne is my favorite place in Michigan to race.
Great job on Third place. If I wouldn't of stopped to catch my breath on a couple of climbs I might of been able to grab your wheel at the end.
35x19 was way to big of a gear that day. Fun the day after for "just riding".
