Full Beaver Moonlight Cruise happens THIS Saturday! - S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y! This weekend's gonna be awesome. 3 solid nights of insanity, starting with the Social Ride, followed by the Midnight Ridazz, and culminating with Saturday night's Full Beaver Moonlight Cruise! That's right kiddos, the moon rises on a weekend night and they sell beer until 1AM so expect things to get out of hand come Saturday evening... Yes, boys and girls, it's that time again! And it's another weekend ride to boot (the last one of 2010!), so those of us with jobs have no excuse not to make it (well, most of us anyways.) "At this point of the year, it's time to set beaver traps before the swamps freeze to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. Another interpretation suggests that the name Beaver Full Moon come from the fact that the beavers are now active in their preparation for winter. It's also called the Frosty Moon." (Perhaps we should stop at a few Wendys for Frosties!) Either way, be at the Pedestrian Bridge at 11:59pm on Saturday night, we ride at about 12:30am.
Like the man says, be there at 11:59pm on the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge, Saturday night. Bring all the things you need to make the ride unforgettable, or even what you need to make the ride blackout-style forgettable as the case may be. It's up to you how you want to do because it's the Full Moon Cruise and the rules for this ride are somewhat... lax.
