Gravel Grinder: Fenton - 6.10.10
I will probably head out from Pontiac Lake Recreation Area to the city of Fenton then work my way over to Seven Lakes State Park. There will be a stop to pick up some food and beverages and a beach break to eat at the park before heading back. There is one KILLER climb that is optional (I am looking to see if I can do it.) The weather looks spotty this weekend so I will be monitoring that, if its a total slop fest I will cancel.
I would expect about 50 miles, 4 hours of ride time with 4-5 hours total. I will cobble up a route map and post it up in the next couple days. If you are interested let me know.
More info on this killer climb please.
I would have had a huge interest in this ride, but I just had seven vascular occlusion coils deployed into my artery yesterday. Been in the hospital all week, and get to go home this afternoon :)
Good to hear from YA, Get well and Let's Ride !!!!!
Where is the waiver ?? Can I use an electronic signature to sign ?
Lol ! I will be in contact soon.
Sorry for derailing this thread !

I don't have the specifics but it is a paved climb coming out of a boat launch area (dickinson lake, seven lakes) that is the closest thing to a 45 degree angle for maybe a few hundred yards that I have found. That of coarse is based on my faulty memory of me in first gear yanking a bass boat up that hill. I will post up some GPS data with pictures when I get a chance to do it.
EDIT: lake name updated
