The 6th and final race in the Lake Orion High School spring series is this Wednesday June 22 at 6:45. The top three places will be determined at the conclusion of the race; many classes have tight battles going on and it's fitting that it will come down to the last race to crown the series champions.

This race will be a time trial, something we have not tried before at LOHS. We will also be changing the course quite a bit for this race and the actual trails to be used will be kept a secret until registration. This should help level the playing field and reduce the home field advantage. But, weather permitting, the course will favor the strong and technical rider. It is definitely not a roadie course through the woods. New climbs have been put in that will test your ability, yet they have been ridden on a singlespeed. I expect winning times to be in the low to mid 30 minute range. AS always, pizza will be available after the race.

Preregistration closes Tuesday night. http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?eventid=12446

Just rode tomorrow's TT

Just rode tomorrow's TT course. Tough, but it was 100% ridable on the singlespeed, including all the hills and obstacles. Tomorrow you can cuss me out all you want, but no whining. :-)

It looks like tomorrow will

It looks like tomorrow will be a beautiful night for the spring series finale. The TT course is not the normal loop, but set up to lessen the home course advantage to regular riders. Looking forward to it!
