Brand spankin' new. Here's the write-up:

Specialized's Command seatpost commands 100mm of height adjustment.

We really like the three stage adjustment. The post will run fully up, fully down or at ‘cruiser position’, which is a drop of 35mm. This is perfect for really technical singletrack, where you need to be able to pedal through it but also need a bit of extra control.

The remote lever is neat and very easy to operate without moving your hand on the grip. Unlike some other posts, the return stroke is undamped, meaning the air spring fires it back up at a fair old rate.
We initially thought this was going to be a painful nut-cracker seat experience, but it was actually an advantage. In use you either use your posterior to control the return or just get out of the way, the benefit being a super-quick return to full height.

The keyed locking system does a good job of stopping lateral play. Manufacturers description

With the exclusive mechanical 3-position locking height adjustment and on-the-fly adjustment via a handlebar mounted lever, you're always in command with the ever changing terrain conditions. 100mm height adjustment range. Keyed, locking system eliminates saddle movement. 30.9mm diameter. 380mm length.
