Orange QBall
My new QBall to replace the broken 07 rig test rode it tonight love it. Trail testing the Poto tomorrow morning

Looking good!
A bike that looks that good needs a name.....
what did it end up weighing? You probably got a large frame yeah? my guess is about 24 lbs. Are you running hydro brakes on that or mechs? Mine weighs 22 lbs right now, but I am going to see about swapping some stuff out this winter. I think I can get to 20, but it will be tough. It's not that critical to me though, because I love how that steel rides. I think you will like it better than the rig.
Since we are whipping out our balls here was mine with q-stick.

Nah it was a few years ago, I think I was just getting into endurance racing and Lumberjack 100's and decided to build the Cannondale 29'r with a lefty boinger to make my life easier. Iam all about rigid steel and hope to have another real soon.
JohnnyG at the mmba is the happy owner now he has a great story about it coming off the rack going down the freeway and only suffering a couple minor scratches.
on the up side his bikes are tough. on the downside my wife tells me I cannot get a custom ti with paragon sliders until the qball gives up the ghost. I don't really ride with a computer, but I would have to say that I have a couple of thousand miles on it from this year.

Did not weigh it but 24 sounds about right. It is a large frame and i do have hydro brakes. At my size the weight of the bike is well not the easiest place to lose it that would be me. lol It was great on the Poto this morning liked the feel of the steal. I do like way better than the rig so far. I will be doing some local gravel roads tomorrow i think just to get some miles on it.
