clinched the series championship at pando today. finished 4th out of 8 or 9. There was a couple of FFG's that I didn't even try to go out with. today was all about finishing and keeping the rubber side down.

Good Job!

I have talked it over with my wife and notified my fishing partner that I am racing more next year. I can always fish when I am old or injured, so now is the time to ride. I think I may try some of these 100 milers next year if I can get registered for the limited ones.

10-4 on that

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing myself. Not really sure what "11" is going to bring. I will have a 2 1/2 year old and < 1 year old... that leaves negative time for training and racing. Any racing will be on a just for fun level the next couple of years. I have been kicking around the idea of lumberjack... Also, scott and I have been plotting possible routes from my house to yankee springs and back that are about 98 miles when the course is figured in. Haven't quite figured out how many gear inches I should run though. Right now I am feeling a little burned out from it all and am looking forward to the holidays and a little down time. Oh and PSSWC. It's not a race.

Kids are fun!

and kids eat up a lot of time when they are young, but it is good time that one can never get back! Mine are now 7 and 4 so I am just now starting to be able to get out a little more since they are easier to care for and other people (grand parents) like taking them for a day or two. Plus, my wife is just getting into road riding so that helps too.

Yes, the PSSWC, hopefully we get a date set up soon.

I have been plotting out some local dirt roads to add a little more variety on short notice and came up with a few nice, hilly, and secluded routes. Now if I can just get the ok to give Scott a call.....to place an order. I am still working on that one

my first son, alex, loves

my first son, alex, loves bikes. I mean he goes crazy when he see's bikes or goes for a ride. I think santa is going to bring him his first SS this winter. I am thinking about painting it flat black and making it look just like my Q. My wife is a dedicated roadie as well. I keep telling her she needs to polish of the MTB and ride some gravel. fewer cars, better scenery, overall better workout.
