We are working with Derek Wrathell (the MMBA-Bloomer Park Trail Coordinator) and Art Fleming (the Bloomer Trails Originator) to fix the trails up properly so that we can have this race without doing damage to the trail system at Bloomer. April was a horrific month for rainfall in SE Michigan, and we will set up the race course with the trail conditions in mind! Remember, it is best to 'Leave no Trace!'
Good Luck!! There are so many fall lines above the 10 Deg recommendation there. This thing is probably a washout nightmare plus humus content of the soil does not lend to draining. What a nightmare to maintain in wet conditions.

Don't bother waiting for Biz, it's been posted on the MMBA board for some time now. I rode over to Bloomer this afternoon and talked with Robert. He said that many parts of the course were unridable.
