Bring it!
That sucks. I wanted to park my motorhome at the lot. For the team. I'm going to try and find a spot super close. Rick'll hook me up.
i still don't really get it with the whole parking lot thing. seemed to be lotsa room last year...
The sand lake campground was decent and pretty close.
Ill be there for another 10 hours of punishment, I want to break 10 hours, I was on pace to be close last year til the last 30 miles...
You going to give it a shot Abbey?
The only humiliation I can suffer is if I don't at least try to finish the race....I have to have something to train for this winter. Also, Sand Lake was a pretty nice place to toss up the tent for a few nights, even though I didn't ride. I may opt for a Hotel in the big city but it would be kind of fun if we got a big group to stay at the campground....Nice hot showers and cold beer. Let's just hope it doesn`t rain again!
[startbitch] the date change sucks [stopbitch]
i'm going to have to see if the hcp ride can change dates. i'd hate to have to decide between them, but i'd probably do the hcp over the LJ...
The first year I tried (for a jersey) I only finished 50 miles and had no idea what I was getting into. At least you know and have enough people around that have done it so you know what to expect. It was a great accomplishment finishing.
I agree with helmet about the camping. I still had my tent up during race time and there was plenty of room to park. BTW there wasn't anything in there about sleeping in your car. Just tents and RVs.
The campground was 4 miles away, I think tent camping was 10 bucks a night or something, and they have hot showers.

I signed up to sponsor again.
