event and race #6 of the 2009 CPS season. All race Proceeds go directly to
the MMBA Metro South Chapter to help us maintaining and building trails in
SE Michigan. Not into racing, that's cool too...But this is a great event
to even come and watch and enjoy.

Details:
This years event is a Time Trial. This means we send out one racer every
30 seconds and it is you against the clock. All Pre-Registered racer exact
start times will be posted the night before the race (Friday 8/21). Day of
registrations will be put to the back of their respective classes. Keep in
mind if you are late to the start line you start loosing time.

Registration
Pre-registration is the way to go. It's only $25 and you can register up
until Midnight on Thursday the 20th at 5 p.m. You can also register on race
day...But it's going to be $35. It's easy to register online and takes
about 5 minutes. Save yourself some money by pre-registering!

NEW - Team Category. This is a simple way for you and your friends to win
some more cool stuff. Registration is an extra $5 per team rider ($25 per

NEW TEAM Category
This year we are trying something different and fun. In addition to the
normal individual race, were offering you and 4 of your friends to compete
as a team in addition to your individual race. We'll collect the
information from each person on your team using their bib numbers. Once we
have all the team racers official times in the system we'll drop both the
fastest and the slowest time from each team. Add up the remaining 3 times
and the team with the lowest time wins. Not only is this a fun way to get 2
races out of one, but were going to have some great swag prizes including a
$100 visa gift card for the winning team (thanks to Bill Brown Ford). Each
team can be made up of any level or gender racers you want. Expert and
Elite times will be an average of their 2 laps.

The Course
New course the year. You asked for a longer course, You got it. 9.5 - 10
miles in length and will include rolling hills, technical single track.
We'll use 99% of the existing trail system that you all know and love PLUS
we throw in some dirt road, pavement, and special super secret single
track. Elite and Expert riders will be doing 2 laps of this course and may
have additional technical features to navigate so practice those rock
gardens J. Beginner, Sport, and Single Speed will all do 1 lap of the
course. There will be plenty of challenges for the advanced racer but the
course is beginner friendly, so come on out. This is a great race to try
for the first time racer!
