12&24 Boyne???

I am already camping this weekend in traverse city. Is anyone interested in SS'ing this as a team event? I was hoping to ride boyne while I was up there before I found out there was a race there. $75 seems a little steep for me to get in a couple of training laps though.

yeah, I know. I made the mistake of trying to run a 2:1 ratio on a 29er there last year in the marathon. 2 laps and my legs were toast. I was hoping to try a 32X18, but may be better off with a 32X20

This is the best race series

This is the best race series in Michigan! Can't wait. I'll be at Stoney, Ithaca, Pando, and Addison for sure. Hopefully I'll make it out to Bloomer too.

A couple years ago I met someone on there way to this race so they could purchase a 20t cog he went on to win the series that year.

boyne is the toughest track I

boyne is the toughest track I have ever run. DJ's drop... I admit that I walked / fell down it the first 2 times I rode there before I had the,,, gumption, to ride it. The reason that I am leaning towards the 32x20 is the fact that there is no flat there. only hills, long and steep & short and steep.

Boyne

I ride 32x20 there and it works well. DJ's drop sucks, but atleast last year they removed the two roots at the top.
