I am thinking about his one,

I am thinking about his one, going to be expensive with addison the week before, then lumberjack 3 weeks later. Sounds fun though, I like new trails.

Actually I may be out, isnt that memorial day weekend?

I`m definitely not going to

I`m definitely not going to be racing this one but would be interested in a possible road trip to pre-ride if we can get a group together....???

This one or Shenandoah. I

This one or Shenandoah. I wanted to do another after LJ last year but couldn't make it happen. I like the date, weekend after Memorial Day and it could fill a gap on my spring racing calender.

Mohican is the next closest

Mohican is the next closest 100 for most of us, after the LJ. The Mohican offers a little bit of everything and can be really tough if it rains. It is probably one of my favorite 100's that I've done, and I've done it three times now. If you stay in the dorm rooms it's $50 for the entire weekend and they sleep four. it doesn't get much cheaper than that. Plus you are right at the finish line/awards/beer.

Ron, I got an MMBA post of

Ron,

I got an MMBA post of mine for you. I don't have time to retype it here. I'll try to find it for you. I understand it is a much better race now. However, The Mohican was the worst run race I've ever done. This was some time ago. I think Chris has his act together now. I've heard nothing but good about the Shenandoah. This trail is more like Michigan riding I'm told than The Wilderness. The same promoter does The Wilderness and Shenandoah. Ryan Dell I believe. Great guy; great promoter. The Aug date of the Shenanoah is a toughy.

I am 75/25 on Mohican right

I am 75/25 on Mohican right now. Need to see how work settles out and how much training I can actually do this winter.

Ron, I will recommend Shenandoah as a race to do. It is top class. The food is good, the beer is good, the trails and climbs are awsome, and you also get free camping. I will be back at Shenandoah next year. Just need to figure out how to train for the climbs.
