Police ID bicyclist killed in Macomb County accident

Police have identified the bicyclist killed when he was struck and dragged by a septic tanker in the Detroit suburb of Shelby Township as an 83-year-old father of eight.
Shelby Township Police Capt. Roland Woelkers says Michael Raymond Shekoski was killed instantly when he was pulled under the tanker Thursday as it turned right on a red light in the Macomb County community.
Police say the truck driver did not see Shekoski, who was dragged several hundred feet before the vehicle stopped.
