Saw this one @ bruno's site http://www.singlespeed-belgique.be not sure if the setup is for me but the bike has potential. Notice the rear brake and were it is mounted ... weird.

Thats a Ubrake down there. I had a Panther. A 10 on the oh neato factor. But a zero to live with. The Ubrake studs would get in the way of chainline if you wanted to run smaller front rings. Ya know, smaller front rings so you can clear logs and stuff like that. And there was not much room for pad adjustment so even if you settled on a good solid 42t front ring, you couldn't run the gamut out back. 18.5" frame so one size fits some. It was cool, but you had to settle on quill stems or a converter, less ya wanted to replace the fork altogether. Yes it is stiff, and yes it handles good. I settled in on having mine set up, you guessed it, like a beach cruiser on steroids.
