Spanish Vuelta gets more TV coverage in US

LOS ANGELES (AP)—The Spanish Vuelta is getting more television coverage in the United States.
Universal Sports said Tuesday that this year’s race will be broadcast live on its Web site each morning. The Vuelta, one of cycling’s premier events, runs Aug. 29-Sept. 22.
Each stage will also be replayed on Universal’s TV network. The two sides agreed to a four-year contract.
