Update!: Texas Chainring Massacre -

The "Texas Chainring Massacre" which will have a mostly farm/dirt road course of 100 or 66 mile options on March 21st has announced registration is now open. Registration is being held on-line with BikeReg and can be accessed here.

Here is a description of the course from the registration site:

This ride/race will be a unique combination of dirt roads and desolate country roads that promises to be both scenic and challenging. Top finishers in each category will be rewarded with a winner take all purse guaranteed to grow as the entry field grows. Other riders will be able to enjoy a fantastic route that starts and ends in the "civilized" part of the D/FW Metroplex near Texas Motor Speedway while meandering through some scenic rural areas including the LBJ/Caddo National Grasslands.

This event also features a winner take all purse, so the competition should be fierce. Stay tuned for any further updates.
